How Does Auto Face Detection Work?
Our Passport Photo Maker utilizes face-api.js, a lightweight JavaScript wrapper for face recognition built on TensorFlow.js. When you select an image, the model searches for key face landmarks (eyes, nose, mouth, chin). It then calculates the exact geometric coordinates to crop the image, centering your face and leaving the required margin above the hair crown.
